Ukon Takafuji　孝藤右近

Ukon Takafuji is a successor of Takafuji-ryu, a creative style of traditional Japanese dance.  His speciality is a female role  and has an excellent reputation to express fragile but strong Japanese women.

He directed and performed many stages at famous cultural heritage in Japan such as Nijo Castle,Daitokuji and Kodaiji., also successfully performed in overseas, such as New York, Taiwan, and China.

He created the sword (Katana) dance performance based on the Japanese myth world. His unique stage to express his world with sword dance and Classical Japanese dance attracts a large audience. Also he produce the colaboration project “AMATERASU” with club DJ, hip hop and break dance performers.  Create the innovative new style stage fused with Japanese traditional culture and brand-new dance music.
